Located directly East of Pemberton’s downtown area and easily accessible by foot, the Propsect Street Subdivision site is part of the Agricultural Land Reserve that currently operates as a horse ranch.

Grounded in an urban agriculture model, a development solution that can accommodate to and integrate a population with a diversity of needs and capacities is proposed. Currently flood prone and underutilized farmland can be transformed into an eco-forward, mixed-use and multilayered resource optimized for the long-term sustainable and smart growth goals of the Pemberton community. Analyzing three strategic directions for mixed-use developments allow the Village to reconceptualize the land’s functionality and capability.

Next step includes heavily coordinating with the Village of Pemberton to ensure applications to the Agricultural Land Commission has Pemberton’s full support.
