Inspired by the symbiosis between history and innovation in modern day Mexico, the project captures the essence of traditional concepts within contemporary design elements while distancing itself from stereotypical reproductions of Mexican culture. The interior is a contemporary interpretation of iconic informal gathering spots such as cantinas, botaneros and food markets from turn-of-the-century Mexico.
